The 2019 Ethereal Summit conference over the weekend came to a close and as always I look to what projects are trying to apply blockchain technologies in innovative ways. One interesting presentation that I came across was from Kevin Owocki, CEO of Gitcoin on the topic of Open Source project funding. He gives some great examples of how blockchain technology can help in funding Open Source projects. Checkout his presentation below, I truly believe that open source projects will benefit from new ways of funding enabled by blockchain.
